SYNOVITIS – JOINT SWELLING

Synovitis is the inflammation of the lining of a joint, also known as the synovium. You may experience symptoms such as pain, swelling, redness, and/or warmth of the affected joint. The goal of treatment is to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

TENDINITIS

Tendinitis is the inflammation, irritation, and swelling of a tendon (the cord that joins muscle to bone). Symptoms include pain and tenderness along the tendon (usually near a joint), pain at night, or pain that is worse with movement or activity. The goal of treatment is to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

TENOSYNOVITIS

Tenosynovitis is the inflammation of the lining of the sheath that surrounds a tendon (the cord that joins muscle to bone). You may experience joint swelling in the affected area, pain and tenderness around a joint, pain when moving a joint, or redness along the length of the tendon. The goal of treatment is to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
