Emily not only brings energy and organization to our clinic, but also skills she has acquired from her schooling at Towson University in Health Promotion, Wellness, and Community Education. She has served as our interim office manager, always with the goal to work full time in patient care. Her experience as prior office manager and degree in Occupational Therapy facilitates anintimate understanding of both clerical and clinical issues. Prior to her joining us, Emily had gained valuable experience in assisted living and long term care. Her interests include orthopedic conditions, custom splinting and myofascial work. In this setting, she is able to work side by side with a certified hand and upper extremity specialist on these areas. Emily is currently on a brief hiatus from the clinic broadening her skill set as a traveling COTA while continuing her educational goals to become a Licensed Occupational Therapist. She is planning on returning to the clinic once she has completed her course work in OT.
